Flora Gilchrist

Flora was born in 1782.¹   Flora's father was John Gilchrist and her mother was Effie McMillan.  Her maternal grandparents were Gilbert McMillan and Christian. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Angus, Archibald, Maclolm, Gilbert, John, Mary, Margaret and Linlie.  She was the third youngest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Effie.¹
