Effie Flora Gilchrist

Effie Flora was born on October 18th, 1878.¹ Effie Flora's father was Angus Gilchrist and her mother was Laura Virginia Graham. Her paternal grandparents were John Jacob Rhodes Gilchrist and Effie Fairly; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Graham and Eilzabeth Purcell. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Edgar, Infant, Elizabeth Irene and Annie Laura. She was the second youngest of the five children.¹
