Elizabeth was born in 1708 in Co Antrim, Ireland.1   Elizabeth's father was William Gaston and her mother was Olivet Lemon. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Hugh, Justice John, Robert, William, Alexander, Mary, Jennett and Martha.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died in Chester Co, South Carolina.1
