William Emanuel [Manly] Farmer

William Emanuel [Manly] was born in 1849 in Murphy, Cherokee, North Carolina.¹   William Emanuel [Manly]'s father was Joshua Farmer and his mother was Rebecca Buchannon. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Nelson, Samuel A, Dorcas Jane, Mary Melvina, Sara Luncinda and Artie May [Artie].  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died in Miami, Ottawa, Oklahoma.¹
