Francis Abiah Exley 
Francis Abiah was born on January 20th, 1838.1 Francis Abiah's father was John William Exley and his mother was Eliza Margaret Mallette. His maternal grandparents were Gideon Mallette and Hannah Elizabeth DeRoche. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James Barnett, John Jeremiah, William Lewis, Gideon Henry, Fletcher Asbury, Marquis Lafayette, Elizabeth Ann, Margaret Josephine, Caroline Eliza and Adelaide Victoria. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 64 on December 4th, 1902. He was buried in Effingham Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
