Elizabeth Ann Exley 
Elizabeth Ann was born on January 18th, 1823.1 Elizabeth Ann's father was John William Exley and her mother was Eliza Margaret Mallette. Her maternal grandparents were Gideon Mallette and Hannah Elizabeth DeRoche. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named James Barnett, John Jeremiah, William Lewis, Gideon Henry, Francis Abiah, Fletcher Asbury, Marquis Lafayette, Margaret Josephine, Caroline Eliza and Adelaide Victoria. She was the oldest of the eleven children.1 -
