Mason Evans 
Mason was born on November 28th, 1878 in Screven Co., GA.1 Mason's father was William Ellison Evans and his mother was Sophronia Cail. His paternal grandparents were John Ruel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Lucas; his maternal grandparents were Bud G. Cail and Lavenia Jane Howard. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Downing, David Ellison, James Garnett, Willie Wood, Harry Cail, Herschel J., Louise, Mary Florrie, Mattye Bell and Hattie Jane. He died at the age of 30 on October 22nd, 1909.1 General Notes
