William Hamilton Dean

William Hamilton was born on June 12th, 1826 in Beaufort Co., SC.¹   William Hamilton's father was Allen Jones Dean and his mother was Sarah Thial.  His paternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jesse Robert, Allen Nelson, John Gideon, Richard Sylvester, Andrew Robert, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Lavonia, Sarah Saphnonia and Martha Pernease.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 19 on November 28th, 1845.¹
