Jesse Robert was born on December 2nd, 1810 in Beaufort Co., SC.1   Jesse Robert's father was Allen Jones Dean and his mother was Sarah Thial.  His paternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Allen Nelson, John Gideon, William Hamilton, Richard Sylvester, Andrew Robert, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Lavonia, Sarah Saphnonia and Martha Pernease.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died in Beaufort Co., SC.1
