John DeWitt 
John was born on March 5th, 1901 in Zeeland, Michigan.1 John's father was Peter DeWitt and his mother was Mary Roels. His maternal grandparents were Pieter Roels and Adriana Brandt. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Gerrit, Cornelius, Arthur, Jennie and Nellie. He died at the age of 77 on May 12th, 1978 in Holland, Michigan.1 General Notes
