Henry Bradford Cushing 
Henry Bradford was born on November 13th, 1842.1 Henry Bradford's father was Hardy Cushing and his mother was Betsy Smith. His paternal grandparents were John Cushing and Lucy Sherman. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Smith, John Loomis, Levantia Ann, Lucy Lavina and Caroline Janet. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-sisters named Almeda Brooks and Anna Arlette. He died at the age of 22 on February 28th, 1865 in Salisbury Prison, N. C..1 General Notes

Henry Bradford Cushing was a soldier in Co. B, 112th new York Volunteers, died in captivity in North Carolina.
He was listed in The Morse Journal as a correspondent. He was Alcander Morse's first cousin.
