Betsy Burks 
Betsy was born on February 27th, 1786.1 Betsy's father was Isham Burks and her mother was Elizabeth Rowland. Her paternal grandparents were John Peartree Burks and Sarah Isham ?. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Robert Rowland, Isham, John, William, Wesley, James Pane, Sally, Nancy and Mahala. She was the third oldest of the eleven children.1 -
