Salley Briggs

Salley was born on July 4th, 1789 in Shutesbury, MA..¹ Salley's father was Ebenezer Briggs and her mother was Silence Redding. Her paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Briggs and Margery Leonard. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Wirium, Life, Ebenezer, Amash, Sarah, Silence and Perley. She was the youngest of the nine children.¹
