Nancy Ann was born on January 6th, 1783.1   Nancy Ann's father was Jacob Booker and her mother was Mary Anne Witzell.  Her maternal grandparents were Witzell and Cooper. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Jacob N., Samuel P., William N, David Dariah, Henry Alexander, George L., Elizabeth, Susan, Sallie, Mary, Allison and Theresa Amelia.  She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children.1
