William Bancroft 
William was born in 1630 in Swarkston, Derby, England.1 William's father was John Bancroft and his mother was Jane. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bancroft and Rebecca Errington. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Samuel and Anna. He was the youngest of the five children.1 General Notes
