Samuel Bancroft 
Samuel was born in 1628 in Swarkston, Derby, England.1 Samuel's father was John Bancroft and his mother was Jane. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bancroft and Rebecca Errington. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, William and Anna. He was the second youngest of the five children.1 General Notes
