Nathaniel Ballou 
Nathaniel was born on April 9th, 1687 in Cumberland, Providence Co., Rhode Island.1 Nathaniel's father was James Ballou and his mother was Susannah Wightman. His paternal grandparents were Maturin Ballou and Hannah Pyke; his maternal grandparents were Valentine Wightman and Mary Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Obadiah, Nehemiah, Samuel, Bathsheba and Susanna. He died in Cumberland, Providence Co., Rhode Island.1 General Notes

Nathaniel Ballou:
Ballous in America; Adin Ballou; OHS: One of the first town councilmen in Cumberland and also on the Court of Probate in Providence County. Buried in the "Ballou Burial Grounds" in Cumberland.
