Josiah Alston Atkins

Josiah Alston's father was Jodie Hanes Atkins and his mother was Julia Eva Latta. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Atkins and Mary Hawkins Barbee; his maternal grandparents were James Osborn Latta and Eugenia Hellen Duke. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Charles, Ralph Alston, Robert Aubrey, Myra Barbee, Alma Ruth, Hazel Duke, Lorena Faye and Mildred Boone.
