James Osborn Latta

James Osborn was born on April 2nd, 1853.¹ James Osborn's father was Simpson N. Latta and his mother was Hawkins Alston. His paternal grandparents were James Latta and Nancy Hannah Holloway; his maternal grandparents were Philip Alston and Sarah. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joseph and Louise Ellen. He died at the age of 68 on August 24th, 1921 in Durham Co., N. C.¹
