Simpson N. was born in 1820.1   Simpson N.'s father was James Latta and his mother was Nancy Hannah Holloway.  His paternal grandfather was John Latta; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Holloway. He had three brothers and a sister, named Anderson, Joseph, James and Mary.  He died at the age of 44 in 1864.1
