Mary Mathilda Arnold

Mary Mathilda was born on April 11th, 1839 in Danville, Knox, OH.¹ Mary Mathilda's father was John Arnold and her mother was Christina Sapp. Her paternal grandparents were Elias Arnold and Rachel Payne; her maternal grandparents were George Sapp and Margaret Logsdon. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Elias, Johannis, William Henry, George Salmon, John J, Margaret, Julia Anna, Sarah, Anna Nancy, Christina Anna and Johanna. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 89 on May 7th, 1928 in St. Joseph, IN.¹
