Elias Arnold 
Elias was born on October 1st, 1787 in Mt. Savage, Allegany, MD.1 Elias' father was John Arnold and his mother was Margaret Logue. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Arnold and Susannah Chapman; his maternal grandparents were James Logue and Mary. He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Honora, Margaret and Patience. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Ralph, Joseph, David, William, Mary, Winifred and Margaret. He died at the age of 84 on November 3rd, 1871 in Danville, Knox, OH.1 General Notes

Cemetery, Danville, OH
!According to book written by Martha Grassbaugh: "Elias and Rachel Payne Arnold
migrated from Allegany County, Maryland to Knox County, Ohio with one child in
the year of 1809.....A Power of Attorney Record from Elias and Rachel (Payne)
Arnold to George Sapp, Jr. is recorded in Volume A-F, Pages 120 and 121 of Knox
County, Ohio, Deed Book under date of October 14, 1809....Elias Arnold died
without a will."
