Katherine Ambrosius 
Katherine was born in August 1850 in Collinsville, Madison Co, Illinois.1 Katherine's father was Matthew Ambrosius and her mother was Elizabeth Wendler. Her paternal grandmother was Catherine; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Wendler and Margaret Rang. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Henry, Sophia L and Esther. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 73 on March 19th, 1924 in Lansing, Ingham Co, Michigan.1 -
