Esther Ambrosius 
Esther was born in 1865 in Collinsville, Madison Co, Illinois.1 Esther's father was Matthew Ambrosius and her mother was Elizabeth Wendler. Her paternal grandmother was Catherine; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Wendler and Margaret Rang. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Henry, Katherine and Sophia L. She was the youngest of the five children.1 -
