Joseph Alvord

Joseph was born on September 3rd, 1775 in East Hampton, CT.¹ Joseph's father was Orren Alvord and his mother was Hannah Parks. His paternal grandparents were Seth Alvord and Elizabeth Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Parks and Amittai Cady. He had a brother and two sisters, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Elisha, Lucy, Betsey, Infant, Infant, Annis and Phylanda. He was the third oldest of the eight children.¹
