Betsey Alvord

Betsey was born on June 7th, 1783 in East Hampton, CT.¹ Betsey's father was Orren Alvord and her mother was Hannah Parks. Her paternal grandparents were Seth Alvord and Elizabeth Spencer; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Parks and Amittai Cady. She had two brothers and a sister, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Joseph, Elisha, Lucy, Infant, Infant, Annis and Phylanda. She was the second youngest of the eight children.¹
