Elisha Alvord

Elisha was born on February 19th, 1779 in East Hampton, CT.¹ Elisha's father was Orren Alvord and his mother was Hannah Parks. His paternal grandparents were Seth Alvord and Elizabeth Spencer; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Parks and Amittai Cady. He had a brother and two sisters, and also four siblings of unknown gender, named Joseph, Lucy, Betsey, Infant, Infant, Annis and Phylanda. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at 11 months old on February 13th, 1780.¹
