Benjamin Strother Washington 
Benjamin Strother was born on October 16th, 1803.1 Benjamin Strother's father was Lund Washington and his mother was Susan Monroe Grayson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Washington and Alice Strother; his maternal grandparents were Spence Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Wagoner. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Lund, Thomas, Peter Grayson, William Grayson, Robert, Samuel Smith, Susan Jean, Mary Elizabeth, Sally Hay, Sally Traverse and Mary Mason. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Peter George, Littleton Quinton and Mary Mason. He died at 9 months old in July 1804.1 -
