Flavus Adolph was born on October 29th, 1898 in Birmingham, Marshall Co., KY.1 Flavus Adolph's father was William Terry Pinnegar and his mother was Eliza Ella Orr. His paternal grandparents were William Jackson Pinnegar and Nancy Elizabeth Ingram; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Sr. Orr and Elizabeth Bridges Stout. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Clifton E, William Jackson, George W, Britton, Charles Eli, Merilla Elizabeth, Didama Gerlean and Azlean. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 86 on June 1st, 1985 in Lvgst, Kentucky.2 General Notes
