Mary Ann Peers 
Mary Ann was born in 1827 in Troy, Lincoln Co., MO. Mary Ann's father was Valentine Jones Peers and her mother was Julie. Her paternal grandparents were Valentine PEARCE and Nellie Orr. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henry C, Cornelia and Julie. She was the second oldest of the four children.General Notes
Mary Ann PEERS. Born in 1827 in Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri.
In 1847 when Mary Ann was 20, she married Henry C. WHITMAN. Henry C. died in 1866.
They had the following children:
i.Alice. Born in 1850. Alice died in 1870; she was 20.
ii.Henry Peers. Born in 1852.
