Edwin Sherman Nickell 
Edwin Sherman was born on October 10th, 1887 in Nickell Farm, Lyon Co., KY.1 Edwin Sherman's father was Madison Criswell Nickell and his mother was Mary Ann "Molly" Boyd. His paternal grandparents were James Nickell and Elizabeth Holloway; his maternal grandparents were Boyd and Malinda E Chandler. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Madison, James Haggard, Andrew Boyd, Alexander Reid, William Shelly, Thomas Walter, Malinda Elizabeth, Jincy Magdelena, Lucinda Tibitia, Millie Ann and Mary Criswell. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 on January 8th, 1975 in San Jose,Santa Clara Co.,CA.-
