Alexander Reid Nickell 
Alexander Reid was born on August 30th, 1880 in Nickell Farm, Lyon Co., KY.1 Alexander Reid's father was Madison Criswell Nickell and his mother was Mary Ann "Molly" Boyd. His paternal grandparents were James Nickell and Elizabeth Holloway; his maternal grandparents were Boyd and Malinda E Chandler. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Madison, James Haggard, Andrew Boyd, William Shelly, Thomas Walter, Edwin Sherman, Malinda Elizabeth, Jincy Magdelena, Lucinda Tibitia, Millie Ann and Mary Criswell. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on June 30th, 1956.-
