Sarah Elizabeth Childress 
Sarah Elizabeth was born on June 26th, 1842 in Spencer County, IN.1 Sarah Elizabeth's father was Thomas Jefferson Childress and her mother was Hannah Molly Arnold. Her paternal grandparents were Fleming Childress and Elizabeth Boyd; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Arnold and Sallie Matthews. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William Jefferson, James Luther, Martha Ann, Mildred Adams, Mary White, Eliza Jane and Katherine. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at just 28 days old on July 24th, 1842.1 -
