Katherine Childress 
Katherine was born on March 18th, 1854 in Owensboro, KY.1 Katherine's father was Thomas Jefferson Childress and her mother was Hannah Molly Arnold. Her paternal grandparents were Fleming Childress and Elizabeth Boyd; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Arnold and Sallie Matthews. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William Jefferson, James Luther, Martha Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Mildred Adams, Mary White and Eliza Jane. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 57 on March 11th, 1912 in Williamson County, TN.1 -
