John C. York 
John C. was born in 1824. John C.'s father was Barnabus York and his mother was Nancy Kivett. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah York and Sarah Allred; his maternal grandparents were John Matthew Kivett and Rosanna Aldridge. He had nine brothers and a sister, named Aquilla, Nathaniel, William, Tyson, Cornelius T., Jones, Jonas, Smith G., Andrew J. and Rosanna. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
