Gisele De Macon was born about 1073 in Bourgogne, France.  Gisele De Macon's father was William I "The Great" of Burgundy and her mother was Stephanie (Etiennete) De Longwy.  Her paternal grandparents were Renaud I de Bourgogne and Alice Adelaide de Normandie; her maternal grandparents were Raymond II and Maude (Mathilda) of Apulia De Hauteville. She had a brother and three sisters, named Raimond of, Irmtrud, Matilda of and Clemence of.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died after 1133.
