Simon I Von was born about 1240. Simon I Von's father was Heinrich II Von Zweibrucken and his mother is Agnes Von Eberstein. His paternal grandfather was Heinrich I Von Zweibrucken and his paternal grandmother is Hedwige De Lorraine. He had a brother and a sister, named Eberhard I Von and Elizabeth Von. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died in 1281.General Notes
