David was born on September 6th, 1610. David's father was John Wemyss and his mother is Jane Grey. His paternal grandfather was John Wemyss and his paternal grandmother is Mary Stewart; his maternal grandfather was Patrick Grey and his maternal grandmother is Mary Stewart. He had a sister named Mary. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 68 in July 1679.General Notes
