Cicely was born about 1430 in Welle, Lincolnshire, England. Cicely's father was Lionel Welles and her mother is Joan Cecily Waterton. Her paternal grandfather was Eudo Welles and her paternal grandmother is Maude Greystoke; her maternal grandparents were Robert II De Waterton and Joan D' Everingham. She had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Eleanor and Catherine. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother named John. She died in 1480.General Notes
