Elizabeth was born on December 24th, 1812. Elizabeth's father was Michael T. Troxell and her mother is Catherine Bishop. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Troxell and Anna Margaret Becker. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Abraham, Thomas Nicholas, Margaret and Mary Ann. She is the second youngest of the six children.General Notes
