Ruth was born on February 18th, 1791. Ruth's father was Thomas Thornburgh and her mother was Miriam Winslow. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Thornburgh and Ruth Hunt. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Winslow, Elizabeth, Sarah and Miriam. She is the oldest of the six children.General Notes
