Richard Stanley 
Richard was born on January 3rd, 1782 in NC. Richard's father was Samuel Stanley and his mother is Sarah Williams. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Elizabeth Walker; his maternal grandparents were Richard Williams and Prudence Beals. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Joshua, Dorcas, William, Samuel, William, Jesse, Nathan, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on September 9th, 1864 in Lynnville, IA.General Notes
