Jesse Stanley 
Jesse was born on January 19th, 1771 in Deep River, Guilford, NC. Jesse's father was Elijah+ Stanley and his mother was Hannah+ Mills. His paternal grandparents were James+ Stanley and Catherine+ Hutchins; his maternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James+, Joseph, John, Elijah, Sarah, Martha, Catherine, Hannah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 on August 5th, 1843 in Washington Co., IN.General Notes
