Edward Smith Stanley 
Edward Smith was born on April 21st, 1775. Edward Smith's father was Edward Stanley and his mother was Elizabeth Douglas-Hamilton. His paternal grandparents were James Stanley and Lucy Smith; his maternal grandparents were James Douglas-Hamilton and Elizabeth Gunning. He had a sister named Elizabeth Henrietta. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 76 on June 30th, 1851.General Notes
