Edward Stanley 
Edward was born on September 17th, 1689. Edward's father was Thomas Horton+ Stanley and his mother was Elizabeth+ Patten. His paternal grandparents were Edward Stanley and Elizabeth Bosville Wyatt; his maternal grandfather was Thomas+ Patten and his maternal grandmother is Mary+ Doughty. He had four brothers named James+, Thomas, John and Joseph+. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 86 on February 22nd, 1776.General Notes

NOTE: I have researched several sources, including the European lines at Geneastar.org, and all show Edward as a son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Patten) Stanley; however,it appears that he and his descendants were in England, while his siblings all appear to have been born in America, so any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated.
