Tarleton Moorman 
Tarleton was born on May 10th, 1783 in Near Rockingham, RIchmond, NC. Tarleton's father was Thomas Moorman and his mother was Susannah Crew. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Moorman and Sarah Clark; his maternal grandfather was Joseph H. Crew and his maternal grandmother is Agnes Stone. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, James, Jesse, Melissa, Agnes and Sarah. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 92 on December 30th, 1875 in New Port, Randolph, IN. He was buried in Maxville, Randolph, IN.General Notes
