Charity Moon 
Charity was born on October 13th, 1754 in Frederick Co., VA. Charity's father was James Moon and her mother is Ann Mendenhall. Her paternal grandfather was Simon Moon and her paternal grandmother is Laurentha Humphrey; her maternal grandfather was John Mendenhall and her maternal grandmother is Ruth Gilpin. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John Peter, Jacob, Thomas, Peter, Hannah, Lurana and Rachel. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died about 1817 in Chatham Co., NC.General Notes
