William C. Mendenhall

William C. was born on January 15th, 1818 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN. William C.'s father was Mordecai Mendenhall and his mother was Alice Mills. His paternal grandparents are Mordecai Mendenhall and Hannah Marshall; his maternal grandparents were John III Mills and Sarah Millikan. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John, Joseph R., Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rhoda, Nancy, Ruth, Narcissa and Mary J.. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 43 on April 9th, 1861 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN.
