Ruth Mendenhall

Ruth was born on June 19th, 1813 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN. Ruth's father was Mordecai Mendenhall and her mother was Alice Mills. Her paternal grandparents are Mordecai Mendenhall and Hannah Marshall; her maternal grandparents were John III Mills and Sarah Millikan. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, William C., Joseph R., Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rhoda, Nancy, Narcissa and Mary J.. She is the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
