William Lindsay 
William was born after 1640. William's father was John Lindsay and his mother is Margaret Hamilton. His paternal grandfather was Robert Lindsay and his paternal grandmother is Christian Hamilton; his maternal grandfather was James Hamilton and his maternal grandmother is Anne Cunningham. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He was the older of the two children. He died on March 6th, 1698.General Notes
